There are many reasons your refrigerator is not cooling. But don't panic—many of the issues are easily repaired.

• The condenser coil has never been cleaned and is covered in dirt or dog hair.
• The temperature  thermostat control is bad
• Low Freon-There is a freon leak in the sealed system
• The compressor is running but not pumping. Valves are leaking, and the compressor is not able to move freon through the sealed system.
• The Compressor is dead and will not start
• The starting component is bad, relay, Capacitor, or burnt wire
• The filter has a restriction in it and will not allow freon to flow through it.
• The main control board is bad from a power surge.

 If you find water on your floor in front of the freezer door, look for a blockage in the drain line from the freezer evaporator to the drain pan. Typically, this water results from the freezer's defrost cycle, during which ice melts off the evaporator coil. The defrost cycle occurs approximately every 12 hours.

• Inspect the water valve that feeds the ice maker and water dispenser for leaks.
• Check the water filter housing for cracks, and if you purchased a water filter from Amazon, check to make sure the filter is fitting in the housing correctly

• The water filter is clogged. The water filter should be replaced every six months.
• The water valve is bad.
• The dispenser has been turned off at the Control Panel

Make sure your refrigerator is level. If it's a built-in fridge, it's very important that it sits level. 

Doors need to be adjusted. Raised or Lowered.

The door hinges need to be replaced.

Look for ice forming inside the fridge and not allowing the doors to close all the way.

Ensure drawers are closed properly, and large items like pizza boxes are not hitting the door.

Shelves are in the right places. 

Check door hinges and door gasket for possible damage.
