The Name

Experience Matters — Not Just Business Age. While John’s Heating, Cooling, and Appliance Repair may be a newer name to some, the experience behind the company spans decades. The business is owner-led by a Master HVAC Technician with extensive hands-on experience across Georgia, supported by a skilled team known for doing the job right the first time. 

From emergency AC repairs in the middle of summer to full HVAC system replacements, our primary focus is keeping homes and businesses comfortable, safe, and running efficiently year-round.  John’s professional experience dates back to 1997, when he started an HVAC business alongside his father, providing heating and air conditioning services to the local community. 

He successfully built and operated that company as a Master Technician for many years before selling it in 2018. After stepping away briefly, John returned to the field and founded John’s Heating, Cooling, and Appliance Repair, bringing decades of hands-on experience, deep local knowledge, and a renewed focus on high-quality HVAC and commercial refrigeration service.

In a relatively short period of time, John’s Heating, Cooling, and Appliance Repair has become a highly trusted choice for local homeowners and businesses, driven by the hands-on experience and leadership of owner and Master HVAC Technician John Davis.

Today, we specialize in residential and light commercial HVAC services, including air conditioning repair, heating repair, heat pump service, system replacements, and 24/7 emergency HVAC service. Commercial refrigeration repair for restaurants and food service businesses is a key secondary specialty, including walk-in coolers, freezers, prep tables, and ice machines.

Limited residential appliance repair is offered only as a supporting, non-core service on a selective basis, while heating, cooling, and refrigeration remain the primary focus of our company.

Company History & Ownership Transition

John’s Heating, Cooling, and Appliance Repair is independently owned and operated

by John A. Davis.

In 1997, John Davis and his father, John Davis Sr., founded John Davis Heating & Air, a heating and air conditioning company serving the Fayetteville, Georgia, area. Through years of hard work, the company grew into a large, well-established HVAC business.

In 2018, after more than 25 years of hands-on HVAC experience, John Davis stepped away from his role as the Master Technician at John Davis Heating & Air, selling his ownership interest and ending his involvement with the company. He later founded John’s Heating, Cooling, and Appliance Repair as a completely independent business, specializing in heating and air conditioning services and commercial refrigeration.

In 2025, John Davis Sr. sold his ownership interest in John Davis Heating & Air and retired from the HVAC industry. As of that time, neither John Davis Sr. nor any member of the Davis family owns, operates, manages, or has any involvement with John Davis Heating & Air in any capacity.
